Mindful healing through precise soft tissue therapies

About

Mindfulness.
Movement.
Massage.

Some universal principles of my practice…

Be Here Now is my mantra! This translates to being fully present and attentive to the person with whom I am working—body, mind, and spirit—and providing all of my services with mindfulness and care.

I specialize in complex cases and goals or challenges that have not responded well to standard therapies or interventions. I also love to work towards specific goals for increased performance in sport, dance, music, work, yoga, play, and whole person wellness!

If you have a history of trauma you can rest assured that sessions with me involve on-going communication and check-ins regarding your sense of safety and comfort and that you will receive competent, non-judgemental support should powerful emotions arise or emotional release occur during session.

I will not hesitate to refer you to medical or other forms of care if I suspect any undiagnosed medical conditions, detect abnormalities that should be checked by a physician, if another treatment approach would be complimentary to achieving your goals, or if another treatment approach would be all-together more appropriate than what I have to offer.

As a client of Be Here Now Bodywork, you will be:

  • treated with dignity, respect, honesty, and authenticity

  • valued as a unique individual with a life story that is worth hearing

  • given the space to share, confront, or withhold your story at your discretion--except, of course, your relevant medical information

  • encouraged to trust your body and soul to do the healing that you came for and that I facilitate

  • bolstered in your pursuit of hope, gratitude, and joy

  • and you will be given the exceptional bodywork you deserve!

Maybe someday I’ll get a professional headshot to put here. Meanwhile…we sure enjoyed clear skies in the Path of Totality for the Great American Eclipse! It was the most AWE-some thing we have ever witnessed!
